LEGISLATIVE ADVISORY: Comprehensive and far-reaching legislation is about to radically change the electric fencing industry. From 1 October 2012, all new and existing electric fence installations will be subject to an “ELECTRIC FENCE SYSTEM CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE”. In addition, only registered electric fence installers, will be allowed to do installations and / or work on electric fences – this includes repairs and maintenance.
